EAT WELL. RUN BETTER
with Cortney Berling, MPH, RD
Hi there!
I am a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, running coach, mom, and military spouse!
I ran cross country and track at The University of Cincinnati. My passion for running extends far beyond the sport. Through running I met my husband and made lifelong friends. Running has been a significant part of my life, but years of underfueling left me sidelined with injury and eventually led to infertility. I am on a mission to help runners heal their relationship with food, fuel their training right, and run their best race while living their best life!
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The University of Cincinnati, completed my Dietetic Internship at The Cleveland Clinic, and obtained my Master’s of Public Health from Liberty University.
Where you are from? I am originally from Medina, Ohio. I attended college at The University of Cincinnati where I met my husband. He joined the Marine Corps in 2012, and we have been on the move ever since! I am currently located in Okinawa, Japan.
What do you specialize in? I specialize in nutrition for runners. My goal is to help runners heal their relationship with food, fuel their training right, and run their best race while living their best life!
What excites you the most about having running clients? The running community has always been a supportive system for me every time we move. I am honored to be able to give back to this special community! I love helping runners find their stride through proper nutrition. It is so exciting to watch a runner set a new personal record as a result of their nutrition changes.
